Low frequency oscillation suppression method of pantograph catenary based on PR control

  • The low-frequency oscillation of pantograph catenary caused by electric locomotives or EMUs under the same Power-supply arm has always been a thorny problem in the field of railway power supply and traction control.The paper designed Proportional-resonant(PR) controller of Single-phase Rectifiers, analysed the principle of lowfrequency oscillation of pantograph catenary, presented several solutions for the low-frequency oscillation. Then improved Proportional-resonant(PR) controller of Single-phase Rectifier,eliminated one beat delay that exits in control algorithm, as a solution for the low-frequency oscillation, Simulation tests were carried out to prove this improvement, and the real experimental of the train also presented a good result. Improvement of Proportionalresonant(PR) control algorithm of Single-phase Rectifier perform better in regulation of input current,and provides a better method for low frequency oscillation Suppression.
