Application of arc grounding fault identification technology based on electric popular wave in distribution network

  • Considering the current situation of frequent arc grounding faults in domestic distribution network in recent years and the problem that arc grounding faults seriously threaten the safe and stable operation of distribution network, it is necessary to analyze the characteristics of arc faults and carry out research and application to identify arc grounding faults. Aims at this problem. The application of arc grounding fault identification technology based on electric popular wave in real distribution line is studied. The technology adopts unique high frequency traveling wave signal, low interference, combined with periodic characteristics of arc discharge, and can identify arc grounding fault quickly and effectively. The field operation shows that the arc grounding fault identification method based on electric popular wave can quickly and effectively identify arc grounding faults, which is simple,convenient and effective. It provides a new method for arc grounding identification of overhead distribution lines,and has certain engineering application value.
